Activity 2: Web Buttons Using Gradient Fills
For this activity, you must demonstrate the effective use of Gradient Fills. You will do this by creating navigational buttons using the rectangle, rounded rectangle, ellipse and polygon tool.
Use the following criteria:
- Create a canvas size of W: 500 by H: 500, and a canvas colour of white, so that your teacher can easily see that you have demonstrated the concepts.
- You will be
creating 3 navigational buttons using the linear gradient fill.
- HOME
- BACK
- FORWARD
- All 3 buttons
should be created using the same shape to create consistency.
- the gradient fill should be of contrasting colours to create the proper effect.
- if you are unsure what is meant by this ask your teacher.
- Each button
will consist of:
- 2 identical shapes of varying sizes.
- 1 textbox
- Each button should also be 2 unique colours.
- Each button should be aligned, flattened and trimmed.
- Each button should be saved as and individual file (home, back, forward).
- You will also be marked on the overall appearance of your buttons.
