Activity 1: Bevel Effects
For this activity, you must demonstrate the effective use of Bevels. You will do this by creating a collage of different shapes using the rectangle, rounded rectangle, ellipse and polygon tool.
Use the following criteria:
- Create a canvas size of W: 500 by H: 500, and a canvas colour of white, so that your teacher can easily see that you have demonstrated the concepts.
- You must have
a minimum of 8 different shapes including the following:
- 4 shapes that shows just a Inner Bevel.
- 4 shapes that shows just an Outer Bevel.
- Each item on
your collage must be a different colour .
- the shape and bevel should be the same colour to create the proper effect.
- if you are unsure what is meant by this ask your teacher.
- You must demonstrate
the following techniques in your collage:
- Rotation of shapes
- Changing bevel effects (distance, colour, opacity, etc.)
- You will also be marked on the overall appearance of your collage.
