Practical Test: Fireworks

In order to assess whether or not students have read through and attempted to understand the lessons in Fireworks, each student will demonstrate to their skills by completing the following tasks:

All of the following should be completed on ONE canvas.

FILE CREATION

    1. New file, 500 X 500, canvas transparent.
    2. Save as Practical Test, in your Unit 2 folder.

TEXT BOX

    1. W: 300 H: 60,
    2. Type your Last name, First Name
    3. Fill colour: #336600
    4. Stroke colour #CC99FF
    5. Font style: Arial
    6. Font Size:45
    7. Shadow: inner shadow on First name, shadow colour dark grey
    8. Emboss: inset emboss on Last name, knock-out image
    9. Rotate: entire textbox

SHAPES

    1. Draw a star with 6 sides
    2. Gradient Fill: linear, light green on left, dark green on right (you choose shades of green)
    3. Bevel: outer bevel: same colour as lighest green on the gradient

IMAGES

    1. Open the images of the 2 teachers for this course.

    2. Pixel Select eyebrows, hair, mouth, nose and shirt of Mr. Van Bakel.
    3. Place the parts on Miss. Frendo.
    4. Try to make it look as real as possible.
    5. Ensure the file is saved as Practical Test
